Backstory:
When he was born, his mother, Leafwhisker, was in immense pain. Though he was the first kit, his sister was born dead. His mother mourned for the lost of her kit the moment she saw her. It took a whole day for Leafwhisker to name her surviving son. She named him Blackkit for the large splotches that covered his orange/tan fur. When he was old enough to walk and talk, he was too uncertain to talk to or play with anyone because of the fact he had no sibling to be with. He ended be mostly to himself, playing with vines and leaves that were strewn on the edges of the camp. Yet, when he wanted to have a friend, he listened to the myths and stories that the elders told him.
As an apprentice, Blackpaw grew a great interest to the ocean and the river. He loved the tale of Burntbush and he constantly told of how he wanted to become a great legend as well. So, he trained himself on his own time. He’d constantly visit the water, practicing fishing and soon enough, swimming. He was fascinated with it and frankly had fun with it. He also began figuring out how to climb trees. However, he began visibly showing up to training sections with injuries because of it; twisted paws, wrenched claws, cuts and scrapes, and once, a dislocated shoulder (which was thankfully treated quickly). His training went well, fueled by his ambition, but it changed when Leafwhisker died. She was attacked by a baboon and soon died from her wounds. Furious, Blackpaw swore vengence on the creatures for taking away the last family member he knew. When he heard them calling one night, he snuck out of camp, tracked them down, and attacked. Though he was swift and agile, so were the baboons. He was able to swing a few swipes, blinding one of the baboon’s eye, but with a single swoop, he was thrown out of the tree and onto the ground. He ran to the ocean, covered in scratches along his back, and hid in the water until day break. He was found next morning by his mentor and was rushed to the medicine cat. The water had soaked through his light, thin pelt, making him so cold that he nearly passed out. Yet, the water kept his cuts clean, appearing to almost heal him. He took this as an act of Starclan, sparing him. After he had recovered, he resumed the last of his training, appreciating the ocean far more than he ever had.
He was named Blackbeak. At first he thought that it was for the black splotch that covered his mouth, but he was told he was given that name after the eagles, one of the only animals that attack and kill baboons. As a warrior, he continues to strive to become a legend, and perhaps, a leader. He can be commonly found by the water, fishing and standing in the water.
Roleplay sample:
Blackbeak stood on the beach, his eyes looking at the rising moon. It was just a sliver tonight, as if a great big cat went up the black sky and tore his claw through it, letting in a bright white glow. Silverpelt was beginning to appear as a giant glittering belt across the sky. The crests of the waves seemed to glow white and the rest shimmered. The rushing sounds of the waves overwhelmed the evening noises of the jungle. When he inhaled, the salty but rotten smell of low tide strongly hit his nose.
The young warrior loved it and he silently thanked StarClan for it all. He glanced up at the stars, wondering which one was Leafwhisker. “Are you proud of me? I did my best to be a good warrior,” he silently asked to Silverpelt. He stared for a few moments, his ears pricked forwards for an answer. But, there was nothing. He let out a small sigh and turned towards the forest. “I better head home,” he murmured aloud. He padded off the beach and darted into the underbush.

You are an apprentice but you act like a senior warrior. I respect you and thought seasons are between us, I think we understand each other.

We met few times already. Your kindness bothers me because then you become rather mean. You're causing a lot of border problems.
